Bari Jenks is an artist whose art reflects a range of genre and media from drawing, painting and mixed media through styles abstract, contemporary and African inspired. Bari trained at Carnegie Mellon and the Rhode Island School of Design where she received her Bachelors in Fine Arts in Interior Architecture. Bari relocated to Houston from New Orleans after suffering the devasting loss of 42 original works during Hurricane Katrina. Resilient and determined, she began again in Houston as an artist, decorative painter and interior designer.   Bari has taught interior design at Temple University and Delgado Community College and enjoys teaching art to middle school children.  Bari is a member of the Fort Bend County Chapter of The Links, Incorporated.
